Elaphiti Islands and Blue Cave boat tour from Dubrovnik, combining crystal-clear swimming spots, charming island villages, and a scenic cruise along the Adriatic coast. The tour includes a swim stop in the stunning Blue Cave area, known for its turquoise water and dramatic coastal cliffs. From there, we cruise towards the beautiful island of Lopud, famous for its sandy beaches, promenade, and Mediterranean charm. Guests have extended free time on Lopud to swim, walk through the historic village, or simply enjoy the island atmosphere.

During the cruise between islands, a cold platter with local prosciutto and cheese is served on board, allowing you to relax and enjoy the Adriatic scenery while dining at sea.

Scenic Cruise from Dubrovnik Riviera

10:00 - 10:45

As we leave the Old Town behind, the cruise itself becomes part of the experience. The boat follows the Dubrovnik Riviera with open views toward Lokrum Island and the Adriatic,
creating a scenic start that feels like a true coastal cruise rather than a simple transfer. This section is perfect for photography and for understanding Dubrovnik’s geography from the sea.

Our skipper will provide a short safety briefing and outline the plan for the day, including swim stops, island time, and return timing.
We keep the pace unhurried so you can enjoy the coastline and arrive to the islands ready for swimming and exploration.

Blue Cave (Koločep Island)

10:45 – 11:30

The first main stop is the Blue Cave on Koločep Island, one of the most popular sea caves near Dubrovnik. In the right conditions, sunlight reflects through the water and creates a glowing blue effect inside the cave.
You’ll have time to swim and snorkel in clear water, with the boat staying close by throughout the stop.

This is a natural sea cave and access depends on sea conditions. Your skipper will always choose the safest approach and explain the entry/exit procedure before the swim.
Snorkeling masks are provided, and the stop is planned to be long enough to enjoy the cave without rushing.

Koločep Island

11:30 – 13:00

After the cave swim, we continue to the village area on Koločep (also known as Kalamota) for authentic island time. Koločep is a peaceful, car-free island known for stone houses, pine forest paths, and quiet swimming spots.
This section is about slowing down: guests can walk through the village, find a café by the sea, or enjoy a calm swim from the pier.

Unlike half-day Blue Cave tours, this itinerary includes real free time on Koločep, giving you the chance to experience the island beyond a quick photo stop.
It’s ideal for travelers who want a mix of nature, local atmosphere, and a comfortable full-day rhythm.

Lopud Island

13:20 – 16:20

Next we cruise to Lopud Island, famous for its laid-back promenade and Šunj Beach, one of the best-known sandy beaches near Dubrovnik.
This is the longest stop of the day, giving you proper beach time rather than a short swim break.

You can choose your perfect Lopud plan: head to Šunj Beach for shallow sandy swimming, stay in the port area for cafés and sightseeing, or walk the island paths for viewpoints and photo spots.
Lopud is a favorite for families and couples because it offers easy swimming, clear water, and a true “island day” feeling.

Panoramic Return Along Dubrovnik Coast

16:20 - 17:30

In the afternoon we begin the return cruise to Dubrovnik. The route is planned to keep the ride comfortable and scenic, with a panoramic approach back toward the Old Town.
Arrival is approximately around 18:00, depending on sea conditions and the pace of the day.

This final section brings the tour together with wide Adriatic views, a calm ride back along the coastline, and a smooth return to Dubrovnik Old Town port.
It’s a perfect finish for guests who want a full-day Elaphiti experience that combines the Blue Cave with meaningful island time on both Koločep and Lopud.

Wycieczka trwała 4 godziny i była niesamowita 😄 speed boat - była na prawdę szybka, co dawało fajne doznania. Rano morze było spokojne, ale przed południem były „niewielkie fale” które dostarczyły dodatkowych wrażeń. Dla osób,  które nie potrafią pływać dostępne są kapoki oraz makarony, więc wycieczka jest bezpieczna i warto z niej skorzystać aby zobaczyć jaskinie oraz skakać z łódki prosto do wody. Na pokładzie były napoje do picia. Wycieczka była kameralna, płynęliśmy w 7 osób. Kontakt z organizatorem sprawny. Pani Marijana w Cavtat mówi po polsku i wyjaśnia wszelkie szczegóły i wątpliwości. Really good tour, on a 34’ boat (the Lily) with only 15 of us on board. Much better than the bigger, more crowded boats. A stop for snorkelling at blue cave, then on to Korcula for an hour or so.  Then a bite to eat (some meats and cheeses). Then 3hrs on Lopud. Highly recommended. I’d give Ivan 6 stars. Very friendly host, managed the boat very safely and played good tunes. 11/10.

Can the boat enter the Blue Cave on Koločep Island?

No. Unlike the Blue Cave on Biševo Island, boats cannot enter the Blue Cave on Koločep. The boat anchors nearby, and guests swim into the cave with the skipper’s guidance. Snorkeling masks are provided, and safety instructions are given before entering.

What food is included on the tour?

A cold platter is served on board during the day. It includes prosciutto, cheese, and pickled vegetables. Drinks such as wine, water, and soft drinks are included

Where are the departure points?

Departures are available from Hotel Albatros, Cavtat, Mlini, Srebreno, and Dubrovnik Old Town. Please refer to the “Departure Times & Locations” section on this page for exact schedules.

Do you offer pickup from hotels or private accommodation?

How long do we stay at the Blue Cave?

The Blue Cave swimming stop usually lasts around 30–45 minutes, depending on sea conditions and traffic. This allows enough time to swim inside the cave, snorkel, and take photos without rushing.

There is no hot lunch included. The cold platter is served on board, and guests also have free time on Koločep and Lopud Islands where they may visit local restaurants or cafés if they wish.
